Father and a Husband

Hmmm….dis post is for all those gals who have had a pampered n overprotective maiden innings in life and have now entered d stark reality of marriage.

- Gals never mistake your hubby to act like your dad
- Do not put him on a pedestal where you expect him to act in a certain way….for all you know he is just like you always thinking about himself.
- He may or may not have time to ask you how you are feeling; probably it slipped his head that you are in pain for some reason.
- If you do not clearly show signs of pain he will never know, it’s hurting.

Now how was DADDY different

1. He always cared no matter what time of the day
2. Woke up from his sleep to check on your fever
3. Called a number of times in the day to check on you
4. Ensured you took your medicine in time, reminded you when you needed to take your dose.
5. Above all –HE GAVE YOU BIRTH N KNOWS HOW TO TAKE CARE.

My experience lately has been that please be thankful to God that you have a dad who cares for you- may feel like nagging sometimes but trust me you will miss it when he is not physically around you….for whatever reason. Let him know you are thankful and how much you appreciate his gesture.

Happy New Year :-)

This new year was in particular a special one :-) Ok..ok...dats cos i am with the one that i most wanted...but also because i realized that God is always watching over u, listening to each prayer and therefore, i can safely say that my prayers have been answered!

Each year has its special memory, last year..i enjoyed a new years bash at my best friends place :-) this year i was happy bein in the comforts of my home...watching Pirates of the Carribean n gorging on some hot KFC chicken....yummmm...i would have liked to go out but..Delhi was on high alert, police vans in each corner of the road were quiet intimidating..n not to forget the chilly winds...its suddenly become so cold here....so u guessed it rite of course staying at home was a better idea :-)

Delhi is known for its raising temperatures at all times of the year :-)i am yet to witness the heat but am welcomed with the winters with a big bang.

There is a thick layer of fog early in the morning and to be more speciffic at the time i leave for work...i may sound like i am stretching it too far but genuinely the other day i could not see a car passing by, so foggy out here...Pune was never so bad...i miss my Pune sumtimes :-0
